Argentina Vs Brazil Friendly Match Today

The much awaited Argentina vs Brazil friendly match would be played today in the northern city of Belem in Brazil. Both teams are desperate for a win as the last friendly match between Argentina and Brazil ended on a goalless draw. If they again end in a draw, the would be forced for a penalty shootout. The team who wins this match would be the Superclassic of Americas, which is a home and away friendly series in which the teams uses players from its local clubs.

Lionel Messi to play in Kolkata in September

Argentine superstar Lionel Messi and his teammates will play a official international friendly match against Venezuela at Salt Lake's Yuba Bharati Krirangan on September 2. The Argentina Football Association would be bringing in a full-strength squad including Messi and this would be Argentina's first match after the COPA America debacle.

The match at Kolkata would be followed by another one against Nigeria on September 6 at Dhaka. Messi would also be getting the chance to captain Argentina for the first time in his career and this would be a great moment for this football magician from Argentina. Unfortunately Argentinian star Carlos Tevez would not be playing as he could not earn a place in the 26 member Argentinian team.

Argentinian football officials had inspected the venue of the match and they were quite satisfied. They also inspected the ground that is decided for the practice sessions and came with a positive result.  Members of Argentinian and Venezuela football team would arrive at Kolkatta on 28th of August.

The 26 year Ronaldo has performed amazingly for his clud Real Madrid as well as his national team Portugal and was selected as the FIFA world player of the year in 2008. He has played 82 matches so far for Portugal and has scored 27 goals.

PES 2012 will also be released for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and Windows PC on 27th of September in North America and October 14th in Europe.

2 World Cup Championships Passed by Since My Last Post

This is really a matter of shame which I know and cannot help myself from being ashamed on not updating this blog for such a long period. I started this blog to offer information regarding world cup soccer championship, but I could not fulfil my goal so far.  I would try my best to cover updates related to world cup football matches, world cup qualifying matches and even the club level information. So be tuned for some better updates in the coming days.

Soccer is the best sport to watch

When compared with other sport soccer or football is the best to watch as it does not consume too much of our valuable time. There are other sports such as cricket which would consume a large portion of our valuable time and at times it may take upto 5 days to finish of a cricket match. But a football match would be over within 2 hours and that too would be filled with action and suspense.

These days, I rarely get time to watch even football matches and I am not doing it purposely, but due to some other reasons.  But whenever I get time, I would like to watch any of the European championship or highlights of any world cup football matches. To say frankly, I prefer international matches over the club matches and always love to see highlights of the world cup matches.

The Euro Cup is around the corner and after 2 years I can also watch the World cup championship that is to be held in South Africa in 2010. Between that there would also be some of the most exciting qualifying matches for the world cup which are worth watching. Hope that this time I get sufficient time to enjoy all those matches.
